Now that the holidays are over, Valentine area businesses may want to take the time to learn how to utilize digital marketing to help their business in 2021. COVID 19 has changed the way many citizens use the internet to shop online. This can put local brick and mortar stores at a distinct disadvantage. Mid Plains Community College has put together a digital toolbox to assist local merchants to compete in the digital world. Marketing expert Tiffany Roe has put together a series of one hour webinars that will cover such things as website creation, using social media for marketing, branding identity, and email marketing. Classes are $45 each or three for $119. The links to the instructional videos will be sent to your email and will be available for businesses to watch, on their own schedule, until the end of May 2021. If a business selects 3 or more of the classes, they will be entitled to a 45 minute one on one business consultation with Tiffany Roe.
Valentine Economic Development will reimburse the entire expense of the classes for all Valentine area businesses that wish to take any or all of the classes. Simply submit your receipt for payment from Mid Plains to Mike Burge and the amount will be submitted for payment from the economic development funds.
