Valentine Police Department Week in Review:
November 22-28, 2020
On 11/23/20 at 1:20 am, an officer was called to the 200 block of south Main Street for a disturbance. All information has been forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney for review.
On 11/23/20 at 9:14 pm, officers made contact with the occupants of a vehicle. Following an investigation, a 32 year old Crookston man and a 24 year old Valentine man were cited with drug charges.
On 11/23/20 at 11:08 pm, officers were called to the 100 block of west highway 20 for a suspicious person. A 29 year old South Dakota man was arrested on an active Cherry County warrant.
On 11/24/20 at 8:09 am, an officer made contact with a 74 year old Long Pine man who was arrested on an active Cherry County warrant.
On 11/27/20 at 9:42 am, officers were called to the 200 block of north Western Street for a welfare check. A 31 year old South Dakota woman was arrested on an active Cherry County warrant.
Officers responded to 79 calls for service this week.
