COVID 19 has taught many citizens how to use the internet to shop online. This can put local brick and mortar stores at a disadvantage. Mid Plains Community College has put together a toolbox for local merchants to compete in the digital world. Marketing expert Tiffany Roe has put together a series of one hour webinars that will cover such things as website creation, using social media for marketing, branding identity, email marketing, Google products and more. Classes are $45 each or three for $119. The links to the instructional videos will be sent to your email and will be available for businesses to watch, on their schedule, several times until the end of February 2021. If a business selects 3 or more of the classes, they will be entitled to a 45 minute one on one business consultation with Tiffany Roe.
Valentine Economic Development will reimburse the entire cost of the program for all Valentine area businesses that wish to take any or all of the classes. Simply bring your receipt for payment from Mid Plains to Mike Burge and the amount will be submitted for payment from the economic development fund.
