Valentine Police Department Week in Review:

November 1-7, 2020

On 11/01/20 at 11:54 pm, officers responded to the 300 block of north Wood Street for a report of criminal mischief to a residence.  A 47 year old Valentine man was cited for the damage.

On 11/02/30 at 9:56 pm, officers were called to the 100 block of south Hall Street in regards to a possible break in.  A 49 year old South Dakota male was arrested for burglary and 2 active Cherry County warrants.

On 11/4/20 at 6:20 pm, officers made an arrest for an active Cherry County warrant of a 26 year old Valentine man near the 100 block of Thatcher Street.

On 11/04/20 at 8:03 pm, an officer made a traffic stop near the 100 block of south Main Street.  Following an investigation, a 28 year old South Dakota man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana.

On 11/04/20 at 9:50 pm, an officer made a traffic stop near the intersection of highway 20 and Vivian Street.  Following an investigation, a 27 year old Crookston man was arrested on suspicion of operating his vehicle while under the influence.

On 11/05/20 at 8:12 pm, officers were called to the 1000 block of east 9th Street for a disturbance.  A 37 year old Valentine man was arrested.

On 11/06/20 at 12:46 am, officers made contact with a suspicious vehicle.   Following an investigation, a 19 year old female from Valentine, a 20 year old male from North Dakota, a 20 year old male from South Dakota and a 22 year old female from South Dakota were all arrested on multiple drug charges.

Officers responded to 110 calls for service this week.
