North Central District Health Department (NCDHD) has been made aware of 21 additional cases in the district: 1- Cherry, 2- Pierce, 3- Boyd, 6 – Knox, 6- Holt, 1- Antelope, and 2- Rock. NCDHD regrets to inform the public of receipt of notification of Holt County’s first death. Additionally, NCDHD reported out earlier this week receipt of notification of Rock County’s first reported death. After further investigation, there was a data discrepancy in address and an adjustment will be reflected that the resident was from Brown County. NCDHD staff and administration send their sincerest condolences to the families of these individuals during this time.

The NCDHD TestNe clinics will resume next week with the following schedule:

  • Monday, September 28th in Bassett from 11am – 1 pm at the fairgrounds
  • Tuesday, September 29th in O’Neill from 8:30 am – 10:30 am. Use the East ally access for the drive-thru clinic in the back of the NCDHD building.
  • Wednesday, September 30th in Niobrara at the Trading Post from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm.

Pre-registration on testnebraska.com for a testing time is preferred, but not required. Testing at these events is free.

A reminder that Total Case (TC) numbers are represented first, and of those total cases the number of Recovered (R) persons is represented second, and total case related Deaths (D) is represented third.
