North Central District Health Department (NCDHD) has been made aware of 27 additional cases in the district. Six cases in the district, through case investigations, have been determined to be due from community spread: 1- Antelope, 1- Brown, 1-Cherry, 2-Pierce, and 1- Knox. Thirteen cases in the district, through case investigations, have been determined to be due from close contacts with confirmed positive COVID-19 cases: 5- Pierce, 1-Rock, 4-Knox, and 3-Holt. Eight cases in the district are still under investigation: 1- Antelope, 1-Brown, 3-Rock, 1-Knox, 1-Boyd, and 1- Holt.

Case count update as of 9/16/2020 at 3:00 PM: 456 Total Cases (TC), 238 Recoveries (R), and 14 Deaths (D). A reminder that Total Case (TC) numbers are represented first, and of those total cases the number of Recovered (R) persons is represented second, and total case related Deaths (D) is represented third.

Cherry County remains in the Yellow Risk Dial, and all counties are now in Yellow except for Keya Paha County, which remains in the green. A notice was sent on Wednesday, 9/16/2020, that a staff member at Keya Paha County schools has tested positive as of September 14th. The staff member and students affected are under quarantine until September 28th.
