North Central District Health Department (NCDHD) has been made aware of 28 additional cases in the district since last reporting on Friday, September 4th. 12 cases through case investigations, have been determined to be from close contact with confirmed COVID-19 positive cases: 1- Pierce, 1 – Holt, 1 – Rock, 3 – Knox, 5- Cherry, 1- Brown. 13 cases through case investigations, have been determined to be from community spread: 7 – Pierce, 2 – Holt, 1 – Knox, 2 – Antelope, 1 – Brown. Two previous Knox County cases, upon further investigation, have been determined to live outside of the district. NCDHD Knox County data will reflect a reduction in those two cases as they are transferred out of the NCDHD reporting area.
NCDHD is pleased to report 47 recoveries since last weeks recovery report. Recovery counts broken down by county are as follows: 1 – Boyd, 3 – Antelope, 3 – Rock, 14 – Pierce, 15 – Knox, 1 – Keya Paha, 4 – Holt, 1 – Brown, 5 – Cherry.
Case count update as of 9/8/2020 at 3:00 PM: 348 Total Cases (TC), 178 Recoveries (R), and 9 Deaths (D). A reminder that Total Case (TC) numbers are represented first, and of those total cases the number of Recovered (R) persons is represented second, and total case related Deaths (D) is represented third.
