On the KVSH Comment program this morning we visited with representatives from Cherry County Hospital about the latest COVID 19 information. Participating in the conversation with Mike Burge, were Doctor Michele Mulligan Witt, Safety officer Shirley Knudson and RN Theresa May. After a recent jump in COVID 19 cases in the community, they again encouraged area residents to wear a mask when in public, social distance and wash hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer often. The county task force set up to address the pandemic continues to meet every other week, but may go back to meeting every week now that there have been more cases reported in Cherry County. Some of the topics discussed on the interview included: herd immunity, accuracy of testing methods, survival rates, is this a man made virus and positive tests that do not display symptoms.

KVSH Radio will rebroadcast the interview at 8:05 this evening for those that could not listen this morning. You can also listen at kvsh.com.
