The Valentine Chamber of Commerce had their regular meeting on Wednesday, August 19th. Moonlight madness was discussed and the date was set for Friday, October 30th. The Kiddie Parade is scheduled and should be a go on Main Street.
Holiday Preview is set for Sunday, November 22nd. Santa is scheduled to visit and will be at Viaero from 1:00 to 4:00 pm that day. Santa will also make a final appearance on the Saturday before Christmas, December 19th.
The Cork Thornton Memorial Ice Fishing Tournament is set for Saturday, January 30th, with the rules meet set for Friday, January 29th.
Valentine’s Day, February 14th, is on a Sunday in 2021. The tentative plan is to have the ping pong drop at 1:00 pm that day, although plans are still being finalized.
Eggert Floors & More,Tall Tails Taxidermy and Sandhills Area Foundation will hold an open house on Saturday, August 29th at the new Cherry Street Plaza from 10 am to 4 pm.
