On 08/11/20 at 9:03 am, a report of an ongoing disturbance was filed with the department. All information has been forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney for review.
On 08/12/20 at 1:34 am, officers responded to the 100 block of north Thatcher Street for a disturbance. Following an investigation, a juvenile runaway from Oklahoma was recovered. The juvenile was turned over to Nebraska Probation Office to be reunited with family.
On 08/14/20 at 10:05pm, an officer arrested a 31 year old Valentine man on an active Cherry County warrant.
On 08/15/20 at 3:14 pm, an officer arrested a 27 year old South Dakota man on an active Cherry County warrant.
Officers responded to 86 calls for service this week.
