The Todd County School District Board of Education voted Monday evening, August 3rd, 2020, to have the first quarter of school taught remotely. Families will have the choice of South Dakota Virtual School or the school district’s own TCES remote learning option. Enrollment will begin next week and the plan for remote learning will be made available fore families in order to help them make an informed decision for their children. The school start date has been moved to September 8th to allow for enrollment. New kindergarten students will need their birth certificate, tribal abstract if enrolled, and immunization records if the shots were given outside of South Dakota. The school board advises to check enrollment schedules at your community school as TCES enrollment may or may not match with the community schools or high school/middle school.
