After a short delay, due to over 2 inches of rain the previous night, eighteen teams teed off around 11:30 on July 25th competing in the Valentine Chamber of Commerce Golf outing. The event is an annual fund raiser for the Chamber. The Tom Elliott team won the Championship Flight with a score of 56. Jerry Harms and his team won first in the First Flight with a 61, and the second flight was won by Woody’s Warriors with a 67 score. No one won the $10,000 prize for a hole in one on hole number 3.
