Valentine Police Department Week in Review:
May 17-23, 2020
On 05/18/20 at 4:14 am, Officers were called to the 200 block of south Vivian Street in regards to an assault that had occurred at a 2nd location. All reports and information have been forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney for review.
On 05/18/20 at 7:17 pm, at the request of Rosebud Tribal Police, Officers made contact with a subject in the 500 block of west 3rd Street. Following an investigation, a 27 year old Valentine man was cited for possession of marijuana.
On 05/22/20 at 12:23 am, an officer contacted a vehicle in the City Park. The park was closed. Following an investigation, a 19 year old South Dakota man was cited for possession of marijuana
less than one ounce.
Officers responded to 128 calls for service this week.
