Valentine Police Department Week in Review:
May 3-9, 2020
On 05/06/20 at 10:15 am, an officer responded to Little’s Trailer Court in regards to graffiti. Following an investigation, suspects have been identified. All information has been forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney.
On 05/06/20 at 5:44 pm, officers responded to highway 20 and Main Street in regards to an injury accident. A 43 year old Valentine man was cited for no proof of insurance.
On 05/08/20 at 6:35 am, an officer was called to the 200 block of north Edna Street in regards to a dog at large killing animals. A 23 year old Valentine woman was cited for dog at large.
On 05/08/20 at 8:13 am, a disturbance was called in at the 100 block of south Cherry Street. Both a 21 year old male and 57 year old male were cited for assault.
On 05/08/20 at 10:55 pm, an officer was requested in the 100 block of west highway 20 for a man refusing to leave the premises. A 34 year old man from Kentucky was arrested for criminal trespassing.
Officers responded to 102 calls for service this week.
