Valentine Police Department Week in Review:
On 02/23/20 at 5:36 pm, an officer fielded a delayed shoplifting report from Bomgaars. A 36 year old Valentine woman was cited for this theft.
On 02/25/20 at 3:00 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 3rd and Government Streets. Following an investigation and deployment of the narcotic detection K9, a 35 year old Valentine woman was arrested on drug charges and child endangerment.
On 2/27/20 at 6:30pm, officers made contact with a 30 year old South Dakota male regarding an active warrant. During the contact, officers seized drugs (methamphetamine) and evidence of drug distribution.
On 2/27/20 at 11:08 pm, officers were called to the 200 block of east 2nd Street. Following an investigation, a 35 year old Valentine woman was arrested for criminal trespassing.
Officers responded to 113 calls for service this week.
