The Sparks Spurs chapter of the Cowboy Fast Draw Association invites the public to come view the Heart City Jackpot shoot this weekend at the Cherry County Fairgrounds in Valentine. The jackpot will feature male and female shooters, from possibly 3 states, competing for awards and cash prizes with 45 caliber pistols and wax bullets. Many competitors will take less than one half of a second to draw and hit a target 21 feet away. Anyone interested in learning more about cowboy fast draw can ask a Sparks Spurs member. They hold practices on Thursday evenings in Valentine. Action begins at 9 AM on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Concession will be available on the grounds.
