According to The Imperial Republican, Adam Lambert, the current superintendent and principal at Cody-Kilgore Unified Schools, was hired on Tuesday, January 14th, by the Chase County Schools board of education on an 8-0 vote. Lambert is the son of the interim superintendent at Chase County, Larry Lambert, who was hired last October after the resignation of then superintendent Randy Klooz. The board approved at two-year contract, setting his 2020-2021 salary at $150,000 and $155,00 for the 2021-2022 school year. His contract starts on July 1.
