The 2020 Miss Rodeo America Pageant was held this weekend.
Eva Oliver, Miss Rodeo Nebraska, finished as second runner up in the Miss Rodeo America Competition. Oliver is from Merriman.
Oliver was the top five finalist, placing second runner up. Oliver also won the written test and speech competitions.
The competition was held in Las Vegas, Nevada. It’s held in conjunction with the national finals rodeo.
The winner of the Miss Rodeo America 2020 title was Miss South Dakota, Jordan Tierney, pictured below. She is a competitive barrel racer and has been involved in rodeo for most of her life. She earned a degree in business administration from Chadron State College in Nebraska in 2017.
