Hot Springs police are asking the public for help in finding the suspect in an attempted armed robbery of a convenience store about 7:00 Tuesday night.
Police Chief Mike Close says Cody Lien is 6 feet tall, 160 lbs., and considered armed and dangerous. Chief Close says Lien was trying to steal alcohol and brandished a firearm when confronted by the clerk. A police chase ensured, but he eluded officers with the possibility he was picked up by someone else.
Close says the clerk was shaken up by the incident but otherwise unharmed. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
