Over 350 tons of scrap tires were accumulated during the two day tire amnesty event in Springview on Tuesday and Thursday. Over 250 tons were dropped off on Tuesday and another 100 tons on Wednesday at the old airport in Springview. The goal for the event was a maximum of 400 tons.
