MULLEN, Neb. (KNOP) – Hooker County Commissioner Dan Deibler turned in his resignation Wednesday afternoon.
Dave Sullivan, Hooker County Clerk, says petitions were brought to his office to recall Commissioner Dan Deibler.
150 signatures on the petition back the claim that Deibler moved to Cherry County in December of 2015 and that disqualifies him from serving on the Hooker County Commissioner board.
Dan Deibler responded to the petition by writing he has voter registration in Hooker County, plus owns real estate and leases ground for a cattle operation.
Sullivan accepted the resignation, so there is no recall.
