Red Nose Day is a national campaign aimed at raising awareness about childhood hunger.  It’s officially on May 25th, 2017.

This year the community got a jump start on this project and donations are being accepted at Valentine Middle School and High School until May 12th!  May 20th- 27th, watch for designated grocery carts at Henderson’s IGA and Scotty’s Ranchland Foods as designated collection sites for canned goods and non perishable items!  You can drop off items when you are done shopping and we will take care of delivering those items to the local pantries.  We have also added a new way to donate: Flower Land and Janine’s Flower Exchange have added a special incentive – if you bring three cans of food into either location on May 22-27 they will give you free flowers!!

Everyone is encouraged to participate in the 2nd annual Heart City #RedNoseDay #NosesOn #Donate!  To all the businesses with marquees – please feel free to utilize these hashtags during the week of May 22nd-May 27th to help raise awareness.  Red noses can be worn to show your support!  We thank you in advance for your continued support!  Let’s top last year’s donations!
