The City of Mission is undergoing extensive road work on Highway 18. Crews are starting on the west end of town, near Ampride, and will start widening the south end of the road first. Once the construction is in full swing, traffic congestion is anticipated and temporary traffic signals will be brought in. The road will maintain two-way traffic but there will be some flag work early in the project. Once the south side of the road is done, workers will flip over to the north side and work on expanding that side of the road. Anderson Construction is in charge of the project, which has an anticipated completion date of August 10th.
