The Banquet is for Juniors, Seniors, Prom Servers and outside dates of Juniors/Seniors. Doors open at 5:45 pm and close at 6 pm. The banquet will be held at the Peppermill and the dress is formal.
The Dance starts at approximately 9 pm and ends at midnight. Doors open around 6:45 pm to 7 pm for pictures and close at 7:30 pm to all students and dates. Doors to the dance will be open for one hour after the completion of the banquet. The dance is a one-way door at all times and all students and their dates will be submitted to a breathalyzer test upon entering the school building. Crowning of the Royalty will start between 7:30 pm and 8 pm in the gym, and the public is invited to attend.
Post Prom will be held at the Valentine Middle School this year. Activities will begin Saturday at midnight and conclude at 3:30 am. Doors will close at 1 am and once a student leaves the post prom, their parents will be notified and they will not be allowed back in. They will have games, food, music and lots of prizes to give away during the night. Some of the prizes include: two televisions, a refrigerator and a microwave along with lots of other cash and prizes. Anyone who would like to help chaperone the event is welcome – you do not have to be a parent of a student.
