Valentine Police Department Week in Review: September 15-21, 2019
On 9/15/19 at 2:10 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of west 4th Street. Following an investigation, a 24 year old Valentine man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
On 9/17/19 at 9:33 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of east highway 20. A 21 year old South Dakota woman was placed under arrest for an active South Dakota warrant.
On 9/19/19 at 2:53 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of north Victoria Street. Following an investigation, a 33 year old South Dakota female was arrested for suspicion of operating her vehicle while under the influence of drugs, possession of drugs (methamphetamine) and child neglect.
On 9/21/19 at 4:22 pm, officers responded to an assault in progress in the 500 block of west 3rd Street. Officers arrested a 68 year old Crookston man for trespassing and assault.
Officers handled 134 calls for service this week.
