Cherry County Commissioners continue to attack road issues throughout the county. At this time there are about 8 roads listed as closed due to high water level.  Many other roads are subject to travel restrictions due to the high water. The commissioner’s are investigating enlistment of outside contractors to help county road crews as they work to repair roads. County crews are equipped to handle mostly routine maintenance on roads and not entire road construction. There is no set date for having all roads open and no dollar amount that will be needed to pay for the repairs.  The county has exhausted their road budget for all three districts at this time.
