Update from the Niobrara National Scenic River:

The Cubic Feet per Second (CFS) is roaring at 1890 this morning (July 6, 2019), it peaked last night at 2140. The river is booking, so be planning your stops well in advance. Be safe and wear a life jacket!

Road Updates:

Yesterday afternoon, 7/5/2019, Keya Paha County stated there was a wash out involving power lines on Norden Ave/Road south of town blocking access to Norden Bridge. Currently there is no access from Highway 12 to Norden Bridge. A road grader will be out today working on the road.

Weather Update:

Today there is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before noon and again after 4pm. Tonight there is a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms..

Fun fact, last year the CFS on July 6th was 833!
