The Cherry County Commissioners met on Tuesday for a regular meeting. Along with routine business, the board members conducted the quarterly jail inspection and participated in a tour of the new Cherry County Hospital renovations.

The board voted to terminate a 1937 lease agreement with Joseph Pavlik for road materials. This will clear the way for the Pavlik land to be sold without hindrance.

Mary Young, Greg Nollette and Joan Rupe were all reappointed to the Cherry County Visitors Promotion Board, which oversees the use of lodging tax money.

The board approved the change of liquor license for Sharp’s Outfitters to indicate an LLC would be the license holder. The board also approved the trial of a State Patrol live scan machine for fingerprints. There was no action on appointing a jail administrator, but they may offer the position online.
