Just before 10 pm on Tuesday, November 14, emergency crews including the Valentine Volunteer Fire Department, Cherry County Hospital Ambulance, and Cherry County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a semi truck and trailer rollover on Hwy 83 just west of the bridge crossing the Niobrara River southeast of Valentine. It is unknown what, if any injuries were reported by the driver of the semi, who was the rig’s lone occupant. Few other details are available at this time, pending a report from the Cherry Count Sheriff’s Office, who is investigating the incident.
