The Mullen Broncos faced the top seed Riverside Chargers Friday night at the Devaney Sports Center where the Broncos won 54-52.
Lance Moore led the team with 15 points and Luke Christen followed him with 11 points. However, Mullen allowed Noah Valasek to hit 19 points and Tredyn Prososki putting up 17; over half of Riverside’s points.
The Broncos were 9-12 from the line and made five three-pointers.
Mullen has won it’s last two games by a combined three points, so the Broncos really being tested in this tournament but their defense got the job done.
The Broncos face Mead on Saturday, March 11th, at 8:30 P.M. in the class D-2 final for the first time in school history. Game will be aired on KVSH Radio courtesy of KBBN.
